Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION
- What is actually being checked during a Pre-Purchase Inspection?
. Everything that can reasonably be visually be seen. Basically we check the vehicle from the front bumper bar to the rear and from the
bottom of the tyres (we check the depth of tread) to the top of the roof (we even check the paint and roof bars if fitted) and most thing
in between, including the engine. For full details Click on the Article Tab and go to Article 2 or ask for the sample report.

CAR BUYING SUPPORT
- What does Car Solutions actually do ?
We help people to buy new cars. In addition we provide support services for used car buyers, such as pre-purchase inspections.
We supply car buying tips for those who want to do their own thing the cost is very low price - see Price List
We supply car buying advice for those who are unsure of what to buy - see Price List for the costing.
We supply a 100 point Vehicle Inspection service for those who have found a car but want to ensure it is what it appears to be.
- What is the difference between Car Solutions and a dealer?
A dealer's sales person will always have to sell you the type of car the dealer has in stock. So, if the dealer has a "White" car you will be told it's
the most popular colour, it's cool in summer etc. If the dealer has only four cylinder cars he will tell you they are fuel efficient and if he has a car
that has a car with high odometer reading it will all be "good" Km's all highway driving ETC., rest assured if any one of those answers happens to
be truthful it is a co-incidence. Car Solutions on the other hand does not have any cars in stock - so we do NOT have to SELL you some thing you
do not want. We go out to find you the BEST car of your choice. That way we have a much higher chance of success in you actually buying the
car using our service. So, we don't car whether you want a 4 or 6 cylinder car, or whether you want it in Black or Red, nor do we recommend
cars with high odometer readings. We just recommend the best. There is no substitute for quality.
- How do you help people buy new cars?
We concentrate on getting the lowest possible price. We know where to go to get the lowest price and dealers know us and do not "play" with
us. They usually give us the lowest pric e first up. Other wise they will miss out.
- How much does your Used Car Buying Service cost?
The Used Car Buying Service, costs $499 (saving you many times that amount, by finding you a better car then you could find yourself), we do all
the work and present you with a high quality used car . The savings that we are likely to achieve will most likely off-set many times the relatively
small cost (even though we never chase down the cheapear car but concentrate on the best) In addition you can rest assured that you get a
quality car, that we have checked out, that is good value and is recommended by us. If you happen to select a car from the auction, or we find
your car at the auction, we will accompany you to buy it. We are with you all the way and you know what you pay.
- What should I do before I contact you for help?
First you should make sure that you actually want a car, then you should make sure you can afford a car, perhaps talk to your financial adviser,
bank, building society etc. to organise the finance. If you prefer we can help with organising the finance for you. Next you need to decide the type
of car that will suit your lifestyle. Now you should visit some dealers to check out some actual cars. Do not use web sites to check on prices, you
will be misled and the whole experience will become a big disappointment if it s not planned well. Once you have driven a few cars and you know
what you want contact us so we can get you the best your money can buy.
- Is there any other help you can offer ?
Yes - we have 100 practical eCar Buying Tips that you can buy.

- How come you know so much about cars?
We have been involved with cars all our lives, first as a mechanic repairing cars, later as a salesman, then as a sales manager, training sales people in maximising sales and then still later on as a dealer principal (managing director of several major car dealerships) we got to know the in's and out's of the trade. You might say we have insider knowledge. We are willing to share that with you. As Channel 7's today tonight program stated Erich is a car buying guru - that's their words.
