WHAT WE CHECK & INSPECT

A Summary of what we check:
* To ensure you do not buy a stolen or re-birthed vehicle we verify the VIN and engine Numbers.
* To ensure you are not unknowingly buying a vehicle that has had paint and or panel repairs we carefully inspect the entire body and report repaired and unrepaired damage.
*We inspect and report on unsafe tyres, wheel rims and where possible check the brake discs.
*To detect leakages and worn engine parts we check the relevant fluid levels (oil, coolant, brake fluid etc.) and report on contamination, lack of anti-corrosion additive etc.
*So that you avoid costly engine repairs we inspect the various mechanical components in the engine bay and check for cracked cylinder heads, gaskets and engine blocks.
* For your safety and comfort we make sure that instruments, lights, air-conditioning, radio, horn, mirrors seat and steering column adjustment, parking brake and Indicators all function properly.
* We take the vehicle for a short test drive (up to 60 Km/h) to check the wheel alignment, wheel balance, the shifting pattern of the transmission and clutch function on manuals, the steering, handling and suspension of the vehicle. Unusual drive train noises are also noted on the test drive. We recommend you do the same.
* We check under the body for fluid leaks, the exhaust system, signs of damage and four wheel drive residue.
* We only take measurements and tests deemed appropriate by the Inspector - we do whatever is deemed necessary by the Inspector to ascertain the quality of the vehicle.

Erich who is the Principal Inspector has now inspected almost 1,000 cars personally. He knows from this experience what to look for to ensure you don't buy a lemon. Erich operated an NRMA Motoring Services APPROVED business (Sydney Mitsubishi) as Managing Director prior to establishing Car Solutions Motor Vehicle Consultants which of course was NRMA Motoring Services APPROVED until 2005. When the NRMA discontinued it's a mobile inspection service, Car Solutions saw it as natural extension of it's own services to fill the gap.
Erich served his motor mechanic apprenticeship on petrol powered cars and diesel powered trucks in EUROPE (Germany) prior to migrating to Australia in 1968. Since coming to Australia Erich has worked as service manager right here in Sydney. He was also Dealer Principal and Managing Director of some very large car dealerships, holding franchises as diverse as Toyota, Holden, Ford, Nissan, Mitsubishi, BMW and Volvo. Some of these dealerships were or had NRMA Motoring Services APPROVED used car departments/outlets. Erich had a long association with NRMA Motoring Services. You can rest assured Erich knows not only what it is all about, but he knows a quality car when he sees one. As dealer principal Erich had up to 20 Mechanics working for him, he supervised the buying and selling of thousands of used motor vehicles. You might say he knows the tricks of the trade. So, any Car Solutions inspection is much more than a mechanical check!
TO BOOK YOUR INSPECTION:
STEP 1. Check out the conditions applicable by clicking on the "Articles Tab" and then got to Article 3 Titled Conditions of Booking an Inspectionand, check out Article 1 regarding the Guarantee, in Article 5 read about the process and the Inspectors qualification, you will be impressed.
STEP 2. Call us on 1300 30 30 12 and provide the sellers phone number and we arrange a mutually convenient time for the inspection with the seller at the earliest possible time. For your information we will sent an SMS with the exact time and date.
STEP 3. The Inspection report will be e-mailed to you by 6:00 PM on the date of the inspection if not earlier. An SMS will be sent once the report is available. If there is any delay, or if requested by you a summary inspection report can be sent immediately after the inspection is completed.
STEP 4. A 4 page, 100 point Detailed Report will be sent to your nominated e-mail address by 6:00 PM on the day of the Inspection, providing you with all the necessary detailed information, to complete your purchase. Details include VIN, Engine, and Registration Numbers, as well as details of the Registered owner etc.
STEP 5. By providing your Credit Card details you confirm the booking. The Credit Card debit will not be processed until the commencement of the inspection. If you prefer you may transfer funds electronically or pay by cash.
We inspect, check, test and probe 275 - 300 items, records, parts and components!

REVS is a scheme administered by the NSW Department of Fair Trading and offers, for a small fee (under $13.80) a Guarantee to the ENQUIRER. The Guarantee in not transferable, and only valid if the enquiry is made WITHIN 24 hours prior to completing the purchase. (This prevents a seller to go out and borrow money against a vehicle he is about to sell).
