QUALITY GUARANTEE

 

We Guarantee the Quality of our Inspections in accordance with the conditions and exclusions below:

THE EXCLUSIONS:

Vehicles with a Built Plate of 5 years or older and/or having travelled more than 100,000 Km, Trucks, Vehicles used for Commercial purposes as well as Vehicles that have been reported as write-offs (in NSW or Interstate) are excluded.   Items or components marked with a C, R, F, E, X, M, are also explicitly excluded as they have been identified to have a problem.  Vehicles with a Rating of less than 75 are not covered by the Guaranty because they are not considered to be a vehicle of “Good Quality” for the purpose of our Rating and therefore should not be bought without first undergoing repairs and re-inspection.   Electrical, electronic and computer related items and items or components damaged due to negligence, misuse, accident or items that are simply worn out are also explicitly excluded. Paint, Panel, Glass and Trim items are not covered under this Guarantee.

WE GUARANTEE:

We Guarantee the Quality of the Inspection - we do NOT Guarantee the quality of the Vehicle.

We will not certify an item, component or part as being Satisfactory (with a "S" on the Inspection report) at time of inspection when a reasonable inspection would have shown that it was not.

THE CONDITIONS:

We Guarantee that should any specific item part or component that has been identified on the inspection report as satisfactory FAIL within the guarantee, we will compensate you for the cost of the repair of up to the value of the Inspection (Money Back Guarantee).  The final and total amount compensated will be at the sole discretion of Car Solutions Motor Vehicle Consultants.

TO CLAIM:

To claim for compensation, any failed item or component must be reported to Car Solutions Motor Vehicle Consultants by phoning 1300 30 30 12 within 24 hours of such failure and not later than 1 day from the date of the expiry of the guarantee period, whichever is the earlier.

Car Solutions Motor Vehicle Consultants must be given the opportunity to inspect the failed item or component during normal business hours and the failed item or component must be replaced (at the vehicle owners cost) by a licensed motor mechanic within 7 days of the item failing. 

If the item is replaced under the terms of a after-market, statutory, or any other kind of warranty Car Solutions Motor Vehicle Consultants will not be liable for any further compensation.

Compensation will only be made by either Car Solutions cheque or credit note after proof (an official invoice from the repairer) has been provided to Car Solutions Motor Vehicle Consultants that that the repair has been completed. This Guarantee is NOT transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of a pre-purchase premium inspection and only in the State of NSW.  Vehicles shipped Interstate are explicitly excluded from this Guarantee.

 

EXPLANATION:

An item considered to be satisfactory or in good working order is marked with an "S" indicating the item performed satisfactory at the time of inspection. FAIL means that an item part or component is no longer able to perform the function it was designed for in its entirety.

NOTE:

Where we have identified that a vehicle should be serviced or repaired, the service or repair must be carried within 30 days from the date of the Inspection. The Guarantee commences from the date of the Inspection or the date the service is completed and the Guarantee period concludes 60 days or 5,000 Km after the original inspection date.  Only Items that are specifically mentioned as being satisfactory are covered under this Guarantee.
